Valve replacement project – delivery of ball valves and actuators for a natural gas distribution network

The valve replacement project involved replacing existing sectioning shut-off valves and associated actuators on the main natural gas distribution network.

The project delivered 122 underground and above-ground Vexve-Armatury ball valves with associated actuators, installed at 26 different locations.

The delivered valves ranged from NPS 6" to NPS 30", in ANSI 300 pressure class.

A SAT (Site Acceptance Test) was performed for each ball valve–actuator assembly, in the presence of the EPC contractor and the end user, to confirm the functionality and compliance of the delivered equipment with the project requirements.
